Designer for a Day
Step 1: Narrow Your Focus.
In this questionnaire you’ll share more about your project, your goals, what you’re hoping to focus on, where you need my help, etc.
Step 2: Find your inspiration
Build your pinterest board with inspiration images. This is crucial - people use different words for different things, you’ll need to provide me with inspiration images for each space you want help with. Want to include here: format can be a pinterest board or a google doc. I need at least 5 images per space. Explain that these images help me understand your vision, so let’s get as specific as possible. Don’t give me a photo of a home’s exterior if you want your bedroom done. I won’t copy exactly the image, but it will tell me your color palette (maybe) and general style. Not sure where to start? Here are some examples of various styles - search for these words to find images you love.
Step 3: Schedule and complete your Virtual Kick-Off
Virtual kick-off is a 30 minute virtual meeting where we’ll review the details of your questionnaire, I’ll answer your questions, we’ll talk through your priorities, etc. UPDATE THIS ONCE I HAVE ALL THE DETAILS OF WHAT THIS ENTAILS. A $50 fee will be charged upon booking, which is credited towards the overall $599 fee for DFD. Available M-F 9-4? After this I’ll do some prep work as needed to make sure we can have a productive Day.
Step 4: Schedule your Day!
Book your 3-hour slot at a time you can be distraction-free. Appts start at 9 am, 10 and and 12:30 pm. For clients more than a 30 minute drive from Boulder, 10 am. Give more notes on logistics.
Step 5: We Design, Plan, whatever you need…
We meet, and we work for 3 hours. We create a plan so you know exactly what steps are needed to execute your project. Go into detail here about what we’ll do.
Step 6: You Execute
Armed with whatever information you need, you can purchase what you need, hire contractors, etc.

What just a few hours can do…
A lot. I come armed with sources, resources, local stores and tradespeople. I’ll be able to point you in the right direction, help you make a plan for the order in which things need to get done, give you referrals for the contractors you need to get stuff done, etc. Examples of wht I can get done: floorplan, furnishings and some decorating touches for one room. Add more here as needed.
